Right now, an 18-year-old in Oregon can buy an assault weapon at a sporting goods store in a matter of minutes. And untraceable, homemade "ghost" guns are being used to avoid basic background check requirements.
Ask lawmakers to raise the age to purchase semiautomatic rifles, ban "ghost" guns and allow local communities to regulate firearms on municipal property.
TELL LAWMAKERS: DEFEND MEASURE 114
In November, Oregon voters approved Measure 114 to require background checks, safety training and a permit to purchase firearms and to restrict the sale of high-capacity magazines.
